For some reason wearing this poncho makes me feel true to my heritage. Maybe it's because supposedly my great great grandfather knew Poncho Via or because my dad owned a really colorful poncho from my grandpa which I always thought was so cool. But either way here's to you my hispanic poncho wearing family.

I cannot express how amazing it is to just have a relaxing weekend after a crazy week. Matt was sick all week and had two midterms, I was trying to cover for my zombie like husband. We were so busy that I somehow ended up with a raw potatoe in my lunch...don't ask. This weekend was really awesome. We watched General Conference, spent time with my very best friend and my second family (more on that later), and even managed a luxurious walk.

Oh to live the dream....even if it only is for the weekend.
