D-d-dandelion-dilly-dally

Outfit: Slum hat: Made by my oh so talented sister (Holla Me-Chelle), Skirt: Thrifted, Blouse: TJ Maxx, Sweater: Target, Shoes: Thrifted

Flood update (random fact: the d button on my laptop is refusing to work making flood, food, doddle and various other words very challenging to write right now), anyways back to the flood update. I'm down in the dumps. No literally my apartment is a total dump right now, and I'm living down in it. The carpet is torn up, it smells like a dang swamp and I'm considering naming the musky smell in my apartment Kendall ( I don't know it sounds like a good name) but just as I was about to let life get me down a little handmade gray knit hat appeared by my doorstep and brightened my day. My sis made this, isn't she talented, she crocheted me a circle scarf too and they are soooo my favorite little accessories to wear. Thanks for the hat sis, you brightened my day right up!

  7. I think I just died and went to ruffle heaven looking at your skirt. I saw your guest post on MVD and love your style, but more importantly, the sarcasm.

  14. Overheard in my Target's dressing room, definitely from a child around 4-5 years old: "Oh mommy, your butt's too big!"

(Am I just in time for Overheard Friday?)

I'm surprised you are so dressed up and looking so happy with an apartment that is flooded... I guess the hat really did turn your day around.
