Revival Files: Mumu?

Total Cost = $0
Over the weekend while me and Sir Matt were in Buena Vista Sandy surprised me with a bag full of old dresses from the thrift store and right away I started dreaming up what I would do with all of the dresses....and then I saw the mumu. I laughed a bit when I saw it because me and my sisters always joke about how we'll wear mumu's every day when we're old because they'll match perfectly with our blue fro's. So after I pranced around the house in the mumu laughing at what I will look like someday and shuffled my little old lady shuffles while making old people grimaces
it finally came to me!
I've been wanting a button up skirt for a while now and with a little elbow grease (not literally you weirdos, if I used grease to fix my clothes they'd have stains and be all stinky...and still look like mumu's) a pretty little skirt turned out.

  7. Um can I say skilled?! Jealous. I need to be crafty like that!!! And also, um, can you tell me more about this remote you take pictures with?! I'm pretty sure my husband won't be taking any more pictures of me for any posts haha. Not his favorite thing to do!!! But I made him lol.

  8. love it!!! i love how you totally can change the entire look of the item. I just made a pink skirt not too long ago and i love it! yours looks a bit like mine, but I'm still a rookie with the sewing machine, maybe one day I can try to do what you do and have it turn out as good as yours does. :) love your blog btw.

  16. I wish I knew how to do more on a sewing maching other than a straight line for taking in or shortening! Don't suppose you want to come to NV and give me lessons? :) Very cute!
