We're Big Kids Now!

Blouse: Target    TShirt: Thrifted   Skirt: Homemade    Belt: Thrifted     Shoes: Thrifted

Did you ever have a moment where you specifically remember feeling like an adult. A few for me were most obviously, getting married, moving out, paying my own bills....oh and that time I distinctly remember being able to climb on top of the kitchen counter all by myself. I had another one of those moments this week when Sir Matt told me we were going on a business trip. I kind of laughed because only golf playing, mustache wearing men go on business trips. But then I got all heel clicky excited because his surprise was that we were leaving for Vegas for the week-ish and that while he was doing his businessy old man things I could just roam the city! So we're off! And that my friends is when you officially become adults! Any suggestions on fun things to do?

  3. If you are staying on the strip, which I assume you are because that is where most out of towners stay, then may I suggest Fashion Show Mall to drool. Overpriced but great for inspiration. If you like aquariums, Mandalay Bay. Want talking statues, Ceasars. an indoor rainstorm? Inside the Alladin, oh wait, it's not the Alladin anymore, maybe it's Planet Hollywood. Anyways, it is an inside mall that has a thunderstorm, very cool. Downtown is great for people watching. Mirage volcano is great. I grew up in LV, I am up by Reno now but LV is home. I am going in two weeks. I has continueing ed classes to take but plan on some frisbee golf, swap meets and casino hopping as well.

  4. Growing up is the worst. Except for when you get to go on grown up trips. I haven't had that kind of luck yet. Just bills and having to act mature. Dang it.

  12. When I was 6, I decided the markers of adulthood for me were being able to pull my hair back at a water-fountain, walking into a grocery store jingling my keys and understanding grown up talk at Thanksgiving.

  13. love that yellow skirt with the red stripes!!

i've been having the itch to go to vegas again...a few fun things to do: the bellagio fountain show (even cooler if you see it from the top of the eiffel tower at paris at night), brunch on the patio at mon ami gabi at paris (another way to see the fountains i suppose, haha), the shark reef at mandalay bay, the venetian gondolas, the forum shops at caesars...there are lots of other things to do but i can't think of them right now!

  15. You HAVE TO, ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO... go to the Bellagio and watch the water show, it is AMAZING. Also you must, must go to Caesar's Palace and look in the forum shops; they are all ridiculously expensive but it is an incredible mall. Also if you love roller coasters than New York New Yorks is phenomenal. You cannot miss the M&M museum... Also I don't know if they still do a pirates show outside of Treasure Island BUT if they do it is also a must.... Can you tell I love Las Vegas? It is an amazing city... also you have to go to all the outlets! Have fun! I am super jealous :)
