Here Comes The Bride

skirt: Shabby Apple  top: thrifted   shoes: Call It Spring

This outfit could function as a wedding dress, but it was just my "holy crap it's one trillion degrees outside and I refuse to wear anything but white" dress. And I tell ya what, it kept me pretty dang cool. I can't say as much for the Indian though, she overheats if she even steps outside so now she just spends most of her days with her face shoved right in front of the AC looking like Heidi Klum at a Vogue photo shoot, hair blowing in the wind all glorious and what not....she needs to work a bit on the posing though. Nobody likes a model with only one look Indie.

  12. I submit to you that Zoolander made it work (though I DO realize that how many looks he has is debatable)

  13. So...I gotta ask...when you wear sheer tops like this, do you tuck your garments up? I'm LDS too and I can't wear shirts like this without a top underneath or my garment sleeves show.

  14. Grethchen oh my gosh no! I hope others don't think that. I never ever alter my garments. I wear a tan downeast undershirt under almost all of my clothes. It is seriously amazing!

BTW love your bachelorette posts. They were so right on and funny! And i agree, Jef can totally wear a suit, only time i ever thought "wow" about him.

  27. Sarah, I just saw your response and I appreciate it! I'm SO SORRY if I came off like a jerk. I swear I didn't mean to. I love your blog and think your outfits are ridiculously cute. You are also the ONLY person who has made watching "The Bachelorette" sound REMOTELY entertaining to me (I'm a t.v. snob, what can I say?). Thank you for the recommendation of the top! I have heard SUCH good things about DownEast Basics but, living in MI, we don't have easy access to it. I'll have to break down and order online. The nude top is a GREAT suggestion!!! Thanks!
