Currently Reading...AGAIN

I read The Fault In Our Stars last year and this year when I kept thinking back on the book I was forgetting some of my favorite parts, and the story is just so freaking good that I was devastated at the thought of not being able to remember everything perfectly. So I read it again, and can I just say that never will you hope for, laugh with, adore and cry over people like Hazel Grace and Augustus. It's hilarious, and deep unto the ocean and I am tragically depressed that I'm already done with the book....again. You MUST put this book on your summer reading list. And then please e-mail me about it so that we can gush over the book!!!

**P.S. They're coming out with the movie version of The Fault In Our Stars and I could make a completely separate post about this but get this, Shailene Woodley, you know of Secret Life of An American Teenager is playing Hazel Grace, and I just vomited in my mouth a little bit. Your thoughts????

  3. This is one of the loveliest books ever! It's the kind of book I am ready to re-read at any given time and it brings a smile on my face everytime I think about it :)

  5. LOVE LOVE LOVE this book. Way too much.
I might not see the movie... not a fan of Shailene but it also wouldn't ever match up to the perfection of how I see them in my mind.

  9. @Kay I totally agree with you! The book is perfection and anything else would probably just be a let down. The jury is still out.

  14. I hate it when they make a movie out of a book. It's 9 times out of ten horrible and then every time I read the book after I have horrible visions of the actors and their terrible acting. UGH! I will try this book though. I've been needing a new good book. Thanks :)

  15. This freaking book.

The first time I read it, I sobbed and laughed and sobbed like a crazy lady. It's certainly a rollercoaster. I read it once, and then during the power outage caused by Hurricane Sandy here on the east, I read it again by candlelight like a pioneer. It made it somehow more emotionally intense, haha! I love it because teens are NOT as witty as John Green makes them, but I don't even care!!

Have you read any of his other books? I totally recommend An Abundance of Katherines and Paper Towns!
